Species Description:
1-1/4” - 3 (4.4 - 7.5 cm) Brown or tan, smooth skin, rectangular spots, without light borders, in parallel rows down the back, bright yellow or orange on concealed surfaces of hind legs, light stripe on upper lip, dorsolateral ridges which extend to the groin.
Call Description:
Low-pitched, steady snore, increasing in loudness over seconds, 1 or 2 seconds in duration, with little carrying power. Similar to leapard frog but more regular. Males may call while completely submered in water.
