The Center for North American Herpetology Facsimile Reprint Series was established in December 2005 and discontinued in 2007. The series was sponsored by CNAH and produced and published in cooperation with Eric Thiss of Serpent's Tale & Zoo Book Sales. These facsimiles were designed to make available long out-of-print herpetological works about North America and adjoining countries in order to better serve the academic herpetological community. The availability gratis of all publications over 75 years of age via the internet has eliminated the market for this type of publication.
